I've already read one on Paul Stamatiou's blog.

I was attracted by the admin UI - much better than even the new WP 2.5 admin. Well done, Habari team.

I don't think WP 2.5 will be released today or tomorrow. Besides, the first version of a new branch is always problematic, so it is wise to hold back for a 2.5.1 or something.

Re: Planning to Upgrade to WordPress 2.5, Read This!

@Owen, I've been playing around with Habari since the 0.2 Developer Preview days and I must say I've been impressed by its growth. I'm planning to review it here on the blog sometime this week, and I plan to highlight the strength and weeknesses of Habari.

Habari's comparison with Wordpress would be inevitable though..

Re: Planning to Upgrade to WordPress 2.5, Read This!

So I hear you're interested in checking out Habari... ;)

I'm anxious to get your opinions on it. We're making a big push for a 0.5 release before some events we're sponsoring in the summer, and the update will include things like podcasting support, a completed permissions system, and a polished admin interface, one that hopefully balances eye-candy against functionality well.

Remember that one of Habari's best assets is its community, and if you're unsatisfied with Habari and have specific suggestions for improvement, we're listening.

Re: Planning to Upgrade to WordPress 2.5, Read This!

Thank you for the information I will probably not update. Though the information about Habari would be greatly appreciated

Re: Planning to Upgrade to WordPress 2.5, Read This!

Yeah, I'm not a great fan of eye candy. I'd probably wait and watch before upgrading myself
